Dingley provides a place where children - from birth to five - with special needs and disabilities can develop skills through play under the supervision of qualified staff. Parents and carers are also welcome, and for them Dingley centres are places to make friends and share experiences. At present, we are supporting over 90 children and their families at the three Dingley centres in Berkshire. Every child who attends is regarded as an individual with the right to take a full and active part in every day life and Dingley aims to facilitate their entry into the next stage of education. Dingley's qualified staff plan activities in line with the EYFS Framework and ensure each child's development and learning is nurtured and in consultation with parents, carers and other professionals next steps are identified. Children with additional needs require more play experience to realise their full potential. There are many therapeutic play opportunities on offer at the centres that are geared to all stages of development. If you feel that your child would benefit from attending a Dingley centre please feel free to get in touch. |
