Become a Friend of Dingley's Promise in our 35th Year

April 25, 2018

Back in 1983, a group of parents raised the bar for children with additional needs and disabilities in Reading by establishing a group where they could play and be children.

35 years on, the work of Dingley’s Promise goes from strength to strength; working to close the gap with mainstream peers and spreading our reach across the county and beyond.

In our 35th Anniversary year we hope to being joined by 35 Friends, whose small and regular gift can help us plan for the years ahead.

So, this April, we ask

“Could you become a Friend of Dingley’s Promise?”

BBC News reported this month that 4,050 children with special educational needs are without a school place in 2017.  With the number of children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) increasing, funds for education have been cash flat.  With funding becoming increasingly challenging, we need your support. to give every child the best start.

On our own we can contribute a little, collectively, it can change the world for a child.
