Three amazing people are challenging themselves to support our great work.  Find out who they are, what they are doing and how you can help us…..

Recently, Tim Rees, husband of our West Berkshire Centre Deputy Manager, took part in the last of his three challenges; raising money for Dingley’s Promise.  The “Rat Race” takes place during the annual Dirty Weekend and was the final leg of his three-part challenge.  In April, Tim ran the Brighton Marathon and the Virgin London Marathon.  The photo shows Tim proudly wearing his three medals!TIM AND HIS THREE MEDALS

Having completed all three challenges, Tim has raised £1,010 so far.  If anyone would like to donate further, his Giving page is still live at

Another of our amazing supporters, Becky Griffiths; aunt of Warren Atkins who attends the Wokingham Centre, also took part in The Virgin Money London Marathon.  So far, Becky (on the right in the picture) has raised over £1,010 from friends and family, and if you would like to donate further, her page is

Upsy Daisy (who is this person – answers on a postcard!) is completing races at several distances; starting with the Green Park 10K on 21st May and eventually including an Ultra Marathon, which should result in a Guinness World Record.  Daisy4Dingley will be out and about over the coming weeks, training for these events – so watch out for her across West Berkshire and help by sponsoring her at

Fundraising for Dingley’s Promise enables the charity to provide the life-changing support that it gives to families and children with additional needs.

If you would like to take on a challenge yourself, the charity will be a beneficiary of the Super Hero Fun Run event, taking place at Beale Park on Father’s Day (18th June).

Why not enter the Super Hero Fun Race and tell them you are running in aid of Dingley’s Promise? – and everything you raise will help children and families across Berkshire.

If anyone is running an event or taking part in any other challenge; and would like to raise money for Dingley’s Promise, please get in touch.  We would love to hear from you!
