Dingley's Promise announced winners of Charity Award

November 08, 2017

On Friday 3rd November, we joined other hopeful local businesses and charities shortlisted for the Newbury Weekly News Best in Business Awards at Newbury Racecourse.  We were absolutely overwhelmed and thrilled to go on and win the Community and Charity award, recognising our hard work supporting children with SEND in West Berkshire.  Our CEO Catherine McLeod MBE said ‘Such exciting developments have been happening at Dingley’s Promise and it was overwhelming to know that others are starting to see them and recognise our unique services! This award is so important to all of us as we strive to constantly improve what we do and reach even more children and families to give them the best start in education.’  Read more about the evening here.

We also received £3,468.50 from donations towards the raffle on the evening, including £1000 from Santander and £500 from Snappy Snaps.  This fantastic amount will contribute to our life changing work in West Berkshire.  We want to thank Newbury Weekly News and Greenham Common Trust who sponsored this award.  We had a fantastic evening and look forward to next year!
